Eurovision Anthem The Eurovision Anthem is a composition written by the French composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1643-1704). The composition used as an anthem of Eurovision, is part of the composition "Te Deum" H.146, one of the best known works of this composer of the Baroque period. The instrumental prelude, Marche en rondeau, was chosen in 1954 as the theme music preceding the Eurovision network broadcasts of the European Broadcasting Union.
